Outside the Box

As every person is different, I firmly believe that there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to therapy. Every individual, couple, and family brings unique experiences, strengths, and goals to the therapeutic process. As an integrative psychotherapist, I tailor treatment by drawing from evidence-based approaches that best meet each client's needs.

This may include:

- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, depression, and insomnia

- Geek Therapy to support identity development, self-understanding, and values exploration

-The Gottman Method for strengthening couple relationships

- Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) for children and adolescents who have experienced developmental trauma and attachment-related challenges.

-Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for supporting those who struggle with OCD, Social Anxiety, or Specific Phobia's.

I also have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In addition to these areas, I provide support for concerns including adoption, anxiety, body image, borderline personality disorder (BPD), depression, family conflict, grief and loss, peer relationship difficulties, pregnancy, prenatal and postpartum adjustment, relationship concerns, stress management, suicidal ideation, and women's mental health during perimenopause and menopause.
